First, we started somewhere, usually with a teacher, friend, an experienced instructor or all three of them. We probably started with the end in sight and for whatever reason, our desire to connect, or wanting to get fit, wanting to learn and improve, wanting to play, or entertain or make people think or feel. We begin your journey and we created a path our unique path.
Then our practice evolved and became personal, incomprehension, and reason. The goal probably changes, along with the reason, we Involve ourselves with our practice. We no longer simply followed blindly, but our personal guiding light gave us direction to a more developed practice.
The virtuoso needs a teacher, the gold medalist has a coach, the number one tennis player is part of a team. The winner of the tour to force had training wheels to simply stay upright that goal evolved and a support team is essential to getting over the line first in Paris, but only we can “press the pedals” do the work, and make the effort.
The real deal is our practice. Creating our practice never stops. And whatever we are practicing if it is done with the breath, it will give and create intimacy.
