We all lift things up, then put them down, we have done this automatically since the time began. It’s one of the first things and most common things we do.
In our relationships, we also lift people up, through support and empathy.
We lift ourselves up by focusing on our breath and comprehending our feelings, focusing on our strengths, and embracing those sensations through awareness, and the wisdom of doing what works for us and our environment.
When we inhale, we lift ourselves up and receive energy, and when we exhale, we can relax and connect to the subtle strength of the body and mind. When you are connected to your breath, those continuous waves of lifting, allow you the time and space to seamlessly connect to the heart centre, where you can observe and connect to that which you are part of the moment.
So when you lift something with mindfulness, when you lift the water, when you lift the firewood, when you lift the seeds, when you lift the watering can.
When your actions are done mindfully there is greater connection to the moment.
