Light thoughts, no Judgement.

It’s a nice way to walk through the day. And it is easier to achieve this promising path by watching the breath. And although watching the breath with light thoughts and no judgment is a nice reflection, it’s not always easy to calm the mind.

The mind can get distracted and it is best to keep those distractions light and not to judge yourself on such matters, just go back to the breath.

Also when watching the breath, a smile can help.

And remember, it is possible to do your practice, knowing that you can sit for a little while and you can watch the breath, makes the process easier.

And whilst watching the breath and especially in pranayama, it is important to practice with ease and comfort. Loosen the belt, take a weight off, get relaxed, on a train, on a plane, in the morning or during the day, on a mountain, at the beach, walking, doing your job, most places most times you can ride the breath.

But personal responsibility is the ability to respond personally. No one will watch your breath for you. Hang on… some people do watch other’s breath. The point is, that this time of watching the breath is to rest the mind, create intimacy with self, allow yourself to bank energy and create balance for your days, this is personal and for everyone.
