The rain falls into the targets of the puddles.
Your practice knows when you have been away and it’s not always bad because your practice will call to you, which is a lovely sign of knowing. Knowing your practice is there for you, knowing you have a connection to your practice that is worth connecting to and investigating and keeps you grounded.
Your practice is best as a priority. Not to scratch the ego but to be nurtured by your true nature. Your practice strengthens your ability to the present. A grounding way to investigate and identify yourself.
Your practice is a competition with yourself where victory lies in surrender. Your practice isn’t always punctual. But it is best to be punctual with your practice. And unless you keep the weeds at bay and plant the seedlings at the appropriate time, unless you practice your scales and your connection to your instrument.
Sink your weight into your feet or pelvis or where you connect with the ground, drop into that with good posture. Get soil on your skin. write three things that you are grateful for. Listen. These things are good to stay grounded.
The rain is absorbed by the ground, shared through the trees, the grasses, and the soil that it falls on, the effects of the rain ripple out and benefit flora and fauna far and wide, promoting growth where it can. The dynamic living organism that is the ground shares, and stores water. Your practice and connection to the breath do the same thing with relationship.
