The rising sun shoots golden rays directly to us. From the source that gives us life, provides beauty, we see big sunrises of enriching clouds drifting, and vast sunset of cloudless skies. Each one is different for the subtlety. Each one is different but no mistakes.
Our subtlety when we practice tai chi, our way, our joys, our sorrows we make our aliveness personal and unique. There are signs and proven methods to direct our progress and great teachers to guide our practice. But it is our personal victories and successes that are most important.
The tai chi where we feel the body, centrally stable. The taiji where the mind concentrates, especially on the inhalation or the movement with the hips leading. Whatever our level, whatever our practice is focused on this experiential understanding is our most important guide.
And it is often when we correct mistakes, by correcting a move or adjusting the body and pose that great advancement gets taken in.
Making mistakes is helpful so we have to make mistakes.
Pick a very small part of the form and do it more slowly. Can you relax more when you sink? Can you unstretch the large thigh muscle after you have aligned? After we have finished doing it wrong we will concentrate, focus and do it right, we feel those sensations (that are intense at first) we are listening for.
