Hi, My name is Patrick Ryan. I am a Yoga and Tai Chi Teacher.
I have practiced Yoga, Tai chi and other bodywork for more than 24 years.
My speciality is the breath and energy in both Yoga and Taiji.
My mission is to help you:
– accept the fact that you are the power of the cosmos.
– And teach you the Yoga and Taiji principles of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and Chen Man Ching, to incorporate into your own yoga practice or Taiji form.
and my philosophy is
Yoga has valuable lessons to get to the heart centre, or “Hridaya,”, to merge the opposites, above to below, seen and unseen, bridge mind and body with the breath.
I aim to give you the tools and help you build your own personal Yoga practice.An asana practice with pranayama and meditation, that arrises naturally, based on the principles of T Krishnamacharya. Yoga offers many benefits without seeking. And whatever your reason; physical fitness, anxiety relief, more energy, or balance and tranquility, countless advantages await those who commit to their own practice.
If you can breathe, there is intimacy for you.
Taiji, or T’ai chi ch’uan, is a Chinese martial art known for its multifaceted benefits for both mental and physical well-being.
Based on on the teachings of Chen Man Ching. I aim to teach you the short form in detail, so you can practice in nature. Learn tai chi, with body, mind, breath, energy all part of your practice which enhances, calmness, concentration, balance, and and overall well being.
Taiji demands significant dedication and focus. If you’re not prepared to invest time and effort, Tai Chi may not be the right choice for you.
