One breathing exercise that will help your body and mind feel choice, is to focus on and extend your exhalation. Let the inhalation come naturally to the chest, then lengthen exhalation and bring the belly in and up, notice the pause between the breaths. If you can close your eyes do that, and ride the breath. It is very simple you are not going to fuck it up.
So simple you can do it whilst you are cooking, creating, caring, carrying, climbing, cloud watching.
Your practice brings change into your life. Even if it doesn’t make perfect sense why looking on the bright side is better, it will make you smile more and that’s good enough.
